La Liga : Malaga vs Real Madrid – Preview

The visit to Estadio La Rosaleda will be the last step for Real Madrid in quest for their 33rd Primera Division trophy.

Any result apart from the loss works just fine for Zinedine Zidane and his men. However, even though everyone sees an easy job for Los Blancos, e must not underestimate Malaga who have been enjoying a fantastic form over the last couple of weeks.

The hosts have been red-hot in the attack since the moment Michel took over as the new head coach back in March.

The Spanish expert can be thrilled to know that his team notched 13 goals in last five matches.

The series includes tough fixtures with the likes of Sevilla, Celta de Vigo and Real Sociedad.

Malaga have four wins on the trot at La Rosaleda where they even managed to see off Barcelona in early April.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid have been brutal in the final third since the loss to Barcelona at Santiago Bernabeu.

Barca’s fans hoped that either Sevilla or Celta de Vigo could make troubles to Zidane’s machinery, but Los Blancos bagged four goals in each of the two fixtures to come only a single step away from the title.

Malaga vs Real Madrid: Head to head

Barca’s chances of lifting the trophy could hardly be slimmer if we know that Malaga only managed to pick up a single win in 33 H2H encounters with Real Madrid.

However, Los Blancos slipped up against the Andalusians twice in last three matches. The last meeting at Santiago Bernabeu has seen a narrow 2-1 win for Real Madrid.
